MetroLINK Senior I.D.
Free Fare for Senior Citizens effective March 17, 2008.
Citizens 65 years and older need to register for a MetroLINK Senior I.D. in order to ride for free.
3 Step Process:
- Senior Citizens must live within the MetroLINK service area -
Rock Island, Milan, Moline, East Moline, Hampton, Silvis, Carbon Cliff, and Colona (west of IL 84)
- Bring your state or federal proof of identification and a copy of your utility bill (verification of address) Centre Station, 1200 River Drive, Moline.
- Fill out an application at Centre Station and recieve your MetroLINK issued Senior I.D.
Seniors 60-64 years of age qualify for reduced fare ($0.40) forty cents per ride. You are encouraged to obtain a MetroLINK ID to make your transit experience more efficient.
You will need to to bring your state ID or driver's license for verification.
